Amanoi, Vietnam
Exquisite boutique beach hotel in Nui Chua National Park
7 nights from £2,390pp sharing a Lake Pavilion, including breakfast and transfers. Flights available on request.
Derived from the Sanskrit word for 'peace' and the Vietnamese word for 'place', Amanoi certainly lives up to its name. Aman's signature contemporary style is interspersed with traditional Vietnamese architecture to create a serene and luxury escape nestled amid the rolling hills of Nui Chua National Park with panoramic views of the sea and coastline below.
Accommodation
Amanoi has 31 Pavilions, all identical in layout and design but separated into five categories depending on views and pools. Pool Pavilions feature private swimming pools with panoramic views of the national park whilst Ocean Pavilions have expansive views of Vinh Hy Bay and the East Sea. The Ocean Pool Pavilions have the same stunning views but are complemented with a private swimming pool. Each of the Pavilions feature king size beds, and bathrooms that come equipped with stand-alone baths, separate rainforest shower and, depending on which room you chose, breathtaking views of the mountain, forest, lake or East Sea from the floor-to-ceiling windows.
Activities & Experiences
Amanoi is situated on a wide, mountainous promontory of the Nui Chua National Park, overlooking one of Vietnam's most beautiful bays - Vinh Hy Bay. A marine reserve adjoins the National Park and is home to a large variety of sea corals, tropical fish species, hawksbill and green sea turtles. So, guests at Amanoi have much to explore, experience and enjoy! Snorkeling, kayaking, windsurfing and hobie cats are all offered at Amanoi. Diving, guided nature trekking, yacht chartering, fishing and visits to the local fishing village can easily be arranged.
Facilities & Services
The Central Pavilion houses the Main Lodge restaurant, there’s an expansive terrace and cliff-top pool – another one can be found at the Beach Club – whilst the Aman spa is set apart by its own tranquil lake. Other facilities include a spacious gym, yoga pavilion, pilates studio, non-motorised water sports, two tennis courts and both running and trekking routes.
Weather & Seasons
Overall, the best time to visit is between February and June when rainfall is low and temperatures are pleasant. The temperature is warm throughout the year (average 29°C), but hotter in June and July and cooler around December. It's rainy from September to January,
and dry for the rest of the year.
Getting Here
Cam Ranh is the nearest airport, served by domestic airlines from Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi. Cam Ranh Airport is just over an hour from Amanoi. A fabulous drive along a coastline show-casing some of Vietnam's most beautiful scenery.
