Activities & Experiences
A visit to St Petersburg is predominantly about art, history and culture. With three million significant works at the Hermitage Museum alone, it is often hard to know where to begin. A good guide is key. We work with the most knowledgeable local guides, taking you to the front of long queues and educating you on the history before you. Explore the best of the city on one of our tailor-made St Petersburg holidays, taking you down winding canals and past multihued buildings of historical import.
Facilities & Services
The Astoria Cafe is considered to be one of the best restaurants in town, combining the best Russian cooking traditions with the latest European trends, accompanied by an extensive wine list. The stylish Lichfield Bar offers original cocktails and a wide selection of appetizers. The Rotunda Lounge serves light appetizers and drinks throughout the day, including afternoon tea.
Weather & Seasons
The main tourist season is summer (July and August), when the weather is the warmest. However, we recommend that the best months to visit St Petersburg are late spring (May or June) and early autumn (September or October). The city is blanketed in ice and snow from November to March - and hardy souls often argue that this is the best time to visit!
