Baraza has fantastic views over the fine white sands and coral reefs of the eastern shore. When you're not exploring the beaches, you can start your day with an invigorating yoga session or perhaps a relaxing treatment in the fabulous spa. The hotel is a wonderful fusion of design influences, with sweeping arches, intricate hand-carved décor and handmade furniture; traditional brass lanterns adorn the villas creating a soft, romantic light. The 30 spacious villas are airy yet intimate, with expansive terraces for relaxing and private plunge pools, perfect for reclining with a favourite cocktail.

Accommodation

There are 14 one-bedroom villas and 15 two-bedroom villas, as well as one Presidential two-bedroom villa. All villas are a fusion of Arabic, Swahili and Indian design. The spacious villas feature luxury interiors, beautiful fabrics, hand carved furniture and brass lanterns, large bathrooms with luxury fittings as well as a spacious terrace and private plunge pool.

Action-lovers will love the array of water sports on offer, including kite surfing, sailing, windsurfing, kayaking, scuba diving and snorkeling. On land, there's tennis, working out in the gym, yoga, and the excellent Frangipani Spa offers a range of relaxing massages and treatments.
