Day 1: UK to Buenos Aires

Overnight flight to Buenos Aires. 

Day 2: Buenos Aires

On arrival, you'll be met at the airport and driven to the superb Four Seasons Buenos Aires (images below), situated in the heart of the exclusive La Recoleta district, with an abundance of cafés and upmarket boutiques, and within easy reach of the city's many cultural attractions. Spend the morning relaxing by the pool or treating yourself to a restorative massage in the spa. In the afternoon, embark on a brief guided walking tour of the local surroundings and points of interest near your hotel.

Day 3: Buenos Aires

Your day starts with a private guided tour around the central plaza including Plaza de Mayo, Casa Rosada, Cabildo and the Cathedral Metropolitan, followed by a stroll through Palermo Gardens, the old quarters of San Telmo and the colourful La Boca district, before getting behind the scenes at the Colon Theatre, one of the world's greatest opera houses. Your guide will take you to Rojo Tango for dinner and an evening of tango.

Days 4: Buenos Aires to Iguazú Falls

We will transfer you to the airport for your flight to Puerto Iguazú, where we'll pick you up and drive you your hotel. Belmond Hotel das Cataratas has an awe inspiring location just yards from the spectacular Iguazú Falls and is the only hotel located within the National Park. This luxurious colonial-style residence is the most exclusive place to stay and being so close means guests have the Falls all to themselves before the park gates open and also after dark.

 This afternoon your time is yours to enjoy the hotel and maybe take a walk to the falls.

Day 5: Iguazú Falls

This morning enjoy a full day visit to the Argentine side of Iguazú Falls National Park. This side of park was created in 1934. It offers a truly unique contact with nature, as it’s possible to get within a few steps of the thundering cascades - so bring your water-proofs! As you walk along the footbridges, you'll get close to the park’s wildlife and lush landscape. Overnight at Belmond Hotel das Cataratas

Day 6: Iguazú to Rio de Janeiro

Your private naturalist guide will take you on a wonderful Morning Walking Tour along the pathways of the National Park. It's a unique and exclusive experience because the tour starts before the park opens to visitors. Your guide will point out and enlighten you about the wonderful flora and fauna that you will see. In the afternoon, we'll put you on your flight to Rio for your 4 night stay at the legendary Belmond Copacabana Palace, a landmark art deco hotel that's one of the grandest hotels in Latin America, set directly overlooking Copacabana Beach. The hotel blends elegance and luxury with a classic style, and provides the perfect luxury retreat from which to explore this vibrant city with its spectacular beaches and impressive colonial buildings

Day 7: Rio de Janeiro

Start the day with a visit to Sugar Loaf and Corcovado Hill before breaking for lunch in one of Rio's best barbecue restaurants. To reach Sugar Loaf, you’ll take a cable car to the top of Urca Hill and its lookout points over Rio. A second cable car will take you even higher to the top of Sugar Loaf Mountain where the views are amazing. Overnight at Belmond Copacabana Palace 

Day 8: Rio de Janeiro

Today is free to explore the sights of Rio or just spend the day on Copacabana Beach or by your hotel's swimming pool - the largest in Rio. If you decide to venture out, you'll hear the sound of samba from the many samba bars throughout the city. Maybe discover Brazil’s fascinating history with a visit to the Museu Historico Nacional, which is housed in a colonial arsenal from 1764. Overnight at Belmond Copacabana Palace

Day 9: Rio to London

Today it’s time to say goodbye to Rio. We’ll drive you to the airport in plenty of time for your flight.
