Rustic properties that have been sympathetically renovated and furnished are sprinkled over this vast coastal estate, giving everyone lucky enough to stay here a blissful escape from every day life. Choose from one, two or five bedroom villas. Each has its own large garden and pool, with plenty of terrace space for alfresco dining, and a feeling of complete seclusion.

Accommodation

Each of the 6 beautifully renovated shepherd's houses or sheepfolds has its own individual style, and blend harmoniously with their rural surroundings. Dating from the 17th century, the rustic thick stone walls keep them cool during the hot summer months. Comfortable, elegant and chic, choose from one of 3 romantic one bedroom cottages, a 2 bedroom cottage and two 5 bedroom stone houses. WiFi connection can be patchy. Please note that access to all villas and getting around the estate requires a 4X4 vehicle.

Activities & Experiences

Active and independent families or couples will love the choice of activities here, whether it's on land or at sea. Explore the numerous walking trails through the maquis and along the miles of beaches; or explore on horse-back instead. On water, perhaps take a traditional wooden fishing boat and sail around the deserted coves, go sea kayaking or snorkelling. That's assuming you can tear yourself away from the beach or your private pool.

Facilities & Services

Guests can cook in their villas, picking fresh produce from the estate's gardens (the estate can also deliver your groceries by arrangement) or choose freshly caught sea bream or local lamb at La Table de La Plage, the primary dining venue on the estate. Or have a candle lit dinner with your toes in the sand at the beach. Private in-villa dining can easily be arranged, as can a picnic hampers. And, when you feel in need of some restorative pampering, head to the open-air spa tucked away behind a fragrant hedge of myrtle, with massage cabanas, steam room and hydrotherapy cabins. Corsica, with its Mediterranean climate, is generally warm and dry from May to September. Average summer temperatures are a pleasant 25C but can rise as high as 35C in July and August.
