Four Seasons Maldives at Kuda Huraa

Luxurious, idyllic family friendly Maldivian island resort

7 nights from £3,600pp sharing (low season) a Beach Bungalow with pool, including flights and transfers; around £6,500 high season

Four Seasons Resort Maldives at Kuda Huraa is set on an idyllic island with luxury thatched accommodation (on the beach and over-water) and extensive facilities - including a magical spa on its own little island, plus its own surf school and dive school for more active guests. The resort is also perfect for families, with a wide range of activities, a Marine Discovery Centre and a kids' club.

Accommodation

Thatched beach pavilions and bungalows line the white-sand beach at Four Seasons Resort Maldives at Kuda Huraa, while water bungalows are built on stilts over the lagoon. From their thatched roofs and timber latticework to the beautiful white stone walls, all the architectural details are constructed by local craftsmen using indigenous materials and techniques. All rooms, bungalows and suites include: twin or double beds as preferred, down or hypoallergenic pillows as desired, internet access, satellite TV, CD and DVD player, safe, phone and minibar.

Activities & Experiences

The resort's extensive opportunities for guests includes a PADI-licensed Dive Centre that will take you to the area's excellent dive sites, and there's also a dedicated surf school with professional instructors (the surf season runs from March to October). Meanwhile, the Water Sports Centre has a wide range of activities to suit all age groups. Kayaking, windsurfing and catamaran sailing are complimentary, motorised activities such as water skiing, parasailing banana boating and fun tubes are chargeable. The gym has everything needed for a great workout, and there is a separate island for the superb spa and another for the tennis court.

Facilities & Services

The facilities include a fantastic Kid’s club (for those over 4 years old), a Marine Discovery Centre with its own marine biologist, a spectacular, sweeping infinity swimming pool as well as a dedicated kids' pool. There is a dive centre, water sports centre and an exceptional spa. Four Seasons Resort Maldives at Kuda Huraa has five restaurants (including Italian, Indian, and seafood) and lounges, including a casual poolside dining area serving a range of international cuisine.

Weather & Seasons

The Maldives has a tropical climate with two seasons: the dry northeast monsoon from December to March, and the wet southwestern monsoon from May to November, with more strong winds and rain. April is a transitional period noted for clear water and heat.

The temperature remains remarkably consistent at around 30°C.

Getting Here

10 and a half hours flight to Malé from London. Guests are greeted by Four Seasons representatives and escorted to a waiting speedboat for a 25 minute ride to the island.
