Charming boutique beach hideaway with year-round climate

7 nights from £1,280pp sharing (low season) to £1,385 (high season) in a Prestige Deluxe Room, including breakfast and transfers
Flights available at an additional charge.

Overlooking a wide lagoon and the sand dunes of the Atlantic coast beyond, La Sultana Oualidia is a beautiful, peaceful, boutique beach hotel. With just 11 wonderful rooms and suites, all with large terraces and private salt-water Jacuzzis, this is a heavenly hideaway - with a lovely spa - awaiting discovery.

Accommodation

There are only 11 rooms and suites at La Sultana Oualidia. All are beautifully designed to be tranquil havens - marble and wooden floors, traditional tadelakt and stone walls, marble bathrooms and oleander ceilings all add to the sense of natural serenity. All the rooms and suites have large private terraces (perfect for sunny, lazy breakfasts) with a seawater Jacuzzi. All have air-conditioning, mini bar, hair dryer, bathroom amenities including bathrobe and slippers, personal safe, TV with international channels and Wi-Fi access.

Activities & Experiences

If you don't want to spend all your time here relaxing by the pool, enjoying the views or being pampered in the spa, there are plenty of activities available. Surfing, windsurfing, stand-up paddle and kayaking are all recommended and a boat trip on the lagoon is a must.  Fishing, bird watching safari, horse riding, yoga and walking are also an option and the vibrant Saturday market in Oualidia is well worth a visit. If you still need more exercise, you can always hit the gym for a workout.

Facilities & Services

Whether dining in the Lagoon Dining Room, Mast Restaurant or at a private location of your choice, the seafood specialities (including lobster and oysters) are all fresh and delicious. La Sultana Oualidia has a 40m outdoor pool overlooking the lagoon with five Jacuzzis surrounding it. The gorgeous spa has an indoor heated pool, fitness and cardio training area, inside and outside massage rooms, hammam, relaxation areas,

plus a beauty and hairdressing salon.

Weather & Seasons

March to May are considered by many to be the best months here as they are warm and sunny, and the landscape is lush and green. Summer is hot but beautifully moderated by the Atlantic breeze. Autumn (mid-Sep to mid-Nov) is also lovely, but the countryside tends to look parched.

Getting Here

It's a 3 hour 20 minute flight from London to Casablanca, followed by a 2 hour 15 minute transfer to the hotel. Alternatively, you could fly to Essaouira or Marrakech followed by a 2 hour 45 minute or a 3 hour 30 minute transfer, respectively.
