Dar Aoua is a lovely country retreat in the heart of an ancient olive grove - ideal for a relaxing holiday in the sun with family or friends, with Atlas Mountain views. It's located on an estate of more than 5 hectares (12 acres) which hosts two other villas. Each villa is completely independent, each with its own private pool. The clay tennis court is shared by all three houses.
Accommodation
The main building features the living room leading out on to the large comfortably furnished terrace, dining room for 10 people, fully equipped kitchen, and a TV lounge. There's a double bedroom on the ground floor and one upstairs too. Both are ensuite with private terraces.
In the wing there are 3 double bedrooms all overlooking a rose garden and the olive grove. All have ensuite bath or shower rooms, and all have private terraces.The entire villa is underfloor heated in the winter and underfloor cooled in spring, summer and autumn. Reversible air conditioning has also been installed.
Facilities
Private swimming pool 25m x 5m, pool towels, alfresco dining area with BBQ, and several comfy outdoor seating spaces. For entertainment, there's wifi, TV, DVD player, stereo system, petanque area and a clay tennis court (shared with the other two villas on he estate).
Villa Rental Includes
The fully staffed villa includes a cook who can also do the shopping (guests just pay for food and drinks when the staff return from shopping, plus a €50 roundtrip shopping fee). Bed and household linens, towels, electricity.
Neighbourhood
Marrakech is 20km from the villa, and the airport is 45 minutes away.
Weather & Seasons
Marrakech is best avoided during the peak summer months of July and August - it's simply too hot! But for the rest of the year you can expect it to be warm and sunny. For example you can expect highs of 20°C in December and January, 25°C in March and 29°C in May and October.
