Activities & Experiences

The hotel is located in the historic district of Nihonbashi, and there is plenty to see and do in this area alone, including visiting the ancient and fascinating  shops selling traditional items such as fans, laquerware, tea and Japanese handmade paper. Further afield, Tokyo has plenty of galleries and museums, temples and markets, or you might even like to take in some sumo or take part in Sado, a traditional

Japanese tea ceremony.

Facilities & Services

Mandarin Oriental Tokyo has five restaurants (three, with Michelin stars) ranging from fine dining to Italian brasserie and Tapas and two bars offer stunning views for drinks, snacks and cocktails. There is also a Tea Corner where you can enjoy sweet and savoury treats over a cup of Chinese tea. The Spa In The Sky is a luxurious sanctuary offering a range of relaxing and rejuvenating treatments and therapies including holistic signature treatments and invigorating heat and water experiences. There's also a fully equipped fitness centre and a beauty salon.

Weather & Seasons

The best and most popular times to visit Japan are the climatically stable seasons of spring (March to May) and autumn (late September to November). The highlight of spring is the cherry-blossom season. Autumn is an equally good time to travel, with pleasant temperatures and soothing autumn colours, which usually peak between late October and mid-November.
