Raffles Grand Hotel d'Angkor, Siem Reap, Cambodia

An elegant, classic hotel in the heart of Siem Reap

7 nights from around £1,150pp sharing a State Room, including breakfast. Flights and transfers available at additional charge.

Raffles Grand Hotel d'Angkor is a stunning example of classic French colonial architecture and has, for decades, been the place to stay when visiting the ancient temples of Angkor. Now carefully restored and discreetly modernised, the hotel’s superb location and renewed elegance has recaptured its position as one of the most popular places to stay in Siem Reap.

Accommodation

The beautifully appointed guest rooms and suites at Raffles Grand Hotel d'Angkor feature Art Deco-inspired decorations, reflecting the period architectural styling that pervades throughout the hotel.

Activities & Experiences

Raffles Grand Hotel D'Angkor is just 5 miles from Angkor Wat and just a 10 minute stroll down a riverside boulevard to Siem Reap's main market and numerous other attractions. The hotel can arrange guided tours of the temples or the town, plus elephant trekking, cookery classes, special dining experiences and trips to Tonle Sap Lake. A 20 minute drive from the hotel, guests can spend the day at the award-winning Angkor Golf Course, managed in partnership with Raffles Grand Hotel d'Angkor.

Facilities & Services

Raffles Grand Hotel D'Angkor has four restaurants and bars including fine dining at Restaurant Le Grand, international buffets at Cafe D'Angkor, the Poolside Terrace for barbecues and The Performance House for exotic dinners accompanied by Cambodian cultural shows.

The Raffles Amrita Spa is available for those wishing to soothe aching limbs after a busy day sightseeing, and there's a fitness room for those in need of more exercise. Plus, there's yoga, meditation, tai chi, library, 35m swimming pool surrounded by sun loungers, and a vast private landscaped tropical garden teeming with exotic birds.

Weather & Seasons

Cambodia is hot all year round and the best time to visit is during the dry season from November to April. It starts to get wetter in May and the wettest months are September and October. It is still possible to visit during this time as rain usually falls as short sharp storms. November is a fantastic month to visit Cambodia as it is very green after the rainy season and the lakes and rivers are full of water.
