If you desire more space, there's a Luxury Tented Suite with a four poster bed; or you could opt for the Royal Tented Suite with its own pool.
Activities & Experiences
Sher Bagh offers complimentary talks from conservationists and naturalists. Massages and game drives in the national park are charged additionally. Guests can also opt for a half-day game drive which allows a six hour drive into the park with no restriction on zones thus allowing for an authentic safari experience. Other things to do in the area include visits to the famous Ranthambore Fort, the Surwal Lake and other water bodies outside the reserve that you can explore on horse back.
Facilities & Services
Facilities at Sher Bagh include a dining tent, bar, and a small tented spa. There are also paths and walkways in amongst the lush jungle with hidden resting places where you can lie back on a charpoy and listen to the sounds of the forest or rest and read in peace. Sher Bagh's menus combine Anglo–Indian and European lunches, with traditional Indian dinners cooked on outdoor clay ovens. The homegrown ingredients, handpicked from the organic herb and vegetable garden at the Sher Bagh Farm, add great value to an entirely fresh gastronomical experience and are loved by foodies of all nationalities. Live cooking, where guests are invited to participate, is an enduring feature of camp life here and one of the most relaxing ways to round off a day tracking wildlife in the jungle.
Weather & Seasons
For warm, sunny weather October to March is the best time to travel to Rajasthan. December and January can have chilly nights. Temperatures in the desert areas are always hot in the daytime, but they can get pretty cold once the sun goes down.
Getting Here
Depending on your itinerary, we will advise the best option for getting to Sher Bagh. As a guide, it's a 4 hour drive from Jaipur or there are daily trains to Sawai Madhopur from Jaipur (2 hours) and Delhi (4 hours). The camp offers a complimentary pick-up service from the station.
