Set between the rugged Hajar Mountains and the azure waters of the Gulf of Oman, The Chedi Muscat is a luxurious retreat offering stylish modern rooms and villas. Built to reflect traditional Omani architecture, the property has also been designed with Far Eastern influences. This is Muscat's smallest option and the most adult orientated as there are no inter-connecting rooms or children's facilities. So, perfect for a relaxing break!

The Chedi Muscat has 158 elegant, well-appointed guest rooms and suites. The Chedi Club Suites are the only room type to offer outside space with a terrace or balcony. All rooms and suites include: a 32 inch flat screen TV, Bose entertainment system, iPod and docking station, wifi, mini bar, fruit basket, Nespresso and tea facilities, luxurious bath products, open plan bathroom with rain shower.
Activities & Experiences
During your stay it's possible to organise tours to the dunes of Wahiba Sands, or up into the Hajar mountains. You can go offshore into the Gulf of Oman for dolphin watching, or go fishing or snorkelling to explore the colourful marine life. Mountain bikes and hiking are also popular activities. The concierge service at the hotel will help you to arrange activities of your choice and give you plenty of advice.

Weather & Seasons
The best time to visit is between November and mid-March, when the cooler air brings the mountain scenery sharply into focus and daytime temperatures average at 25°C. For the rest of the year, much of Oman is oppressively hot and hazy, particularly between May and August.
Getting Here
It's a 7 hour 30 minute direct flight to Muscat from London. The Chedi Muscat is an easy 15 minute transfer from the airport.
