Accommodation

The Wallawwa has 17 rooms and suites including ten Garden Suites and two Family Suites. There's also a two-bedroom Mountbatten suite. Suites are air-conditioned and feature king size Balinese four poster beds, a Terrazzo lined en-suite wet room with rainshower, basin & WC and private verandah with comfortable seating area. Amenities include WiFi internet access, a widescreen satellite TV, safety deposit box and tea and coffee making facilities.

Activities & Experiences

The chances are you'll simply be stopping over at The Wallawwa when your flight lands in Colombo (or just before you're due to leave) in order to decompress, relax by the pool or treat yourself in the spa. However, the hotel will be happy to arrange excursions to the beaches and fish markets of Negombo, just 30 minutes away, or into Colombo city centre for shopping, dining and visiting cultural sites and museums. 

Families

Children are welcome at The Wallawwa. There's a children's menu available at the restaurant and the family suite is an ideal choice of accommodation if you are travelling with young ones.

Facilities & Services

Facilities include a spa offering signature massages, scrubs and wraps using traditional Ayurvedic techniques, and a selection of other health and beauty treatments. Plus, there's a library, pool, beautiful gardens, WiFi and a restaurant serving sumptuous Asian fusion cuisine. There are vegetarian and kid's menus available should they be required.

Weather & Seasons

Colombo and the low-lying coastal regions have an average temperature of 27°C with the driest and best seasons for the west and south coasts being December to March. The sea stays at around 27°C all year. 

Getting Here

It's a 10 hour 30 minute direct flight to Colombo from London, followed by a 20 minute transfer. We would be happy to create a bespoke itinerary for you in Sri Lanka to enable you to discover more of the island's wonders.
