Neighbourhood

The villa is in Oia village and a short walk to shops and restaurants. Local places of interest include Oia Naval Museum (100m) and Ammoudi (600m) which is a tiny and very picturesque village port with just a few traditional buildings built around a natural bay. The famous St Nicholas’ Church and the island's capital Fira are both 12km away. The nearest beach is 5km away at Cape Columbo.

Weather & Seasons

Santorini is a Spring to Autumn destination and hotels etc. are only open from late April to late October. Peak season (and hottest weather) is July and August when everywhere gets pretty busy. June and September are excellent months to visit, when the island is quieter but temperatures are still lovely and warm.
